My Meeting With The War Planner!

I had the distinct pleasure of having an adult beverage or two (OK, maybe three) with The War Planner this evening.  I found him an engaging down to earth man who had far more in common with me than I first thought.

I cannot say if that is a good or bad thing, I'll let the audience decide....

Anyhow, I can see a Left Coast Consortium of sorts forming - maybe we can also kidnap invite the Left Coast Rebel, Woodsterman and MAInfo to join.  Who knows maybe even Little Miss Atilla will join our cabal????

The sky's the limit here in California.  Perhaps together we can muster a voice loud enough to be heard in Sacramento.  God knows, in California it can't get much worse.

TY TWP - I enjoyed your company immensely.

  1. I bet it was a lot of fun. It would be great for all you guys to get together, esp. the folks you mentioned, Lipton.....great patriots all!
    Enjoy your Holiday Weekend.

  2. Bunni,

Lipton is far too kind, an interesting raconteur, and a master when it comes to the selection and imbibition of single malt whiskeys. Extra-cool fact: Lipton was once a UCLA Bruin quarterback! U-C-L-A fight-fight-fight! [band in background strikes up "By the Pacific's Rolling Waters"]

Our visit inspired me yet again in this lonely quest we seem to have. I heartily recommend your tracking down like-minded bloggers in your neighborhood and scheduling a tête-à-tête. The experience tends to neutralize the incoming vibes from the MSM and Obama bum-osculators and gives one a sense of solidarity with fellow electron-herders.

Lipton, thank you for the kind words, the wonderful philosophicasl experience, and the tips on where Glennfiddich can be had most cheaply on The O.C.

Next up: Inviting Mary Ann, LCR, LL, and others to our clandestine -- and dare I say -- beer hall meetings.

  3. Now I'm jealous. We should work on a virtual "Beer Summit" for those of us in the ether who can't afford the passage. If nothing else, I'd be there in spirit.
    Cheers!

  4. If we get this trip together, we'll have to do a "virtual happy hour" with our friends in the Ether...
