Why Is This So Easy To Believe? Massa ousted because he's a "NO" vote on Health Care.

Does anyone beside me find it so plausible that Eric Massa is being run out of town on a rail primarily because he was a sure "NO" vote on health care?

Rep. Eric Massa (D-N.Y.) says the House ethics committee is investigating him for inappropriate comments he made to a male staffer on New Year's Eve — and that he's the victim of a power play by Democratic leaders who want him out of Congress because he's a "no" vote on health care reform.  (Courtesy of Politico - article here)

Please don't misunderstand me, I don't think for a minute that Rep. Massa is pure and clean.  And he certainly would a hard time passing public scrutiny over comments (or solicitations) to a male staff member (remembering he is married with children).  But other politicians have survived far worse scandal (Chappaquiddick Island ring a bell?).  And, it seems to me the best way to show he is truly a leader is to stand his ground and vote with his middle digit aimed squarely at the White House.
Sadly, that doesn't look like it's happening.  And if he thinks for a minute he will avoid further political hardball with his resignation, I fear he's mistaken.  In any case, we want whack jobs like this in the Democratic Party.  Politicians like this will ensure Conservative victories this November.
