Women Of Music Rule 5 - Wendy O. Williams

A few things for the audience to contemplate here:

Do you even remember Wendy O. Williams and The Plasmatics?
If so, do you know how hard it is to find PG pics of Wendy?

For the uninitiated, Wendy O. Williams was the Lady Gaga of her time - only far more punk, far more vulgar (imagine that) and frankly, far more talented.  The Plasmatics were punk rock of the First Order, and as such reflective of a period in American culture which is not really so different today (minus the polyester leisure suit, of course).

Without further delay, Wendy O. Williams (RIP)

Yep, I will always be one of em.....

  1. I knew I could count on you.

    Thanks.

You brought back a lot of good memories involving chainsaws and shaving creme.

  2. I remember seeing the Plasmatics on Tom Snyder's old late-night talk show. I don't think Tom was ever at such a loss for words, hahaha!
