ACORN Folds - So What?

The problem of course being that I should be studying, but there is just too much going on to NOT get some comments posted.

Ben Smith at Politico reports the details on the folding of the national ACORN offices.
The ACORN Association Board met on Sunday March 21 and approved a set of steps to responsibly manage the process of bringing its operations to a close over the coming months. These include:

* Closing ACORN’s remaining state affiliates and field offices by April 1st; and
* Developing a plan to resolve all outstanding debts, obligations and other issues.

Perspective:  So What?  As I noted a couple days ago, the re-branding of the strongest chapters is well under way, and nothing is being buried but the name.  While it's a superficial victory - at best - what it really does in plunges ACORN into a jungle warfare-type scenario.  Cover, conceal and snipe when you have the tactical advantage.  A hollow for Conservatives.  And of course, funds are once again flowing so operations will continue as usual.
